Protex Masonry Protection is a white, penetrating coating that primes, encapsulates, blocks staining and block fills in one step.  When dry, Protex Masonry Protection forms an abrasion resistant, washable and water proof film that is impermeable to most conditions.  It’s uses include such applications as basements, crawl spaces, slab foundations, concrete block, poured concrete/cement and preformed concrete in both residential and commercial construction.

Protex Masonry Protection contains EPA registered antimicrobials to guard against and help protect the coating surface from mold, mildew, odor-causing microorganisms, black fungal staining and bacterial and fungal slime films.*  Since these materials are built into the molecular structure of the coating, they won’t wash off or wear away.  This protection lasts the useful life of the coating film.  Protex Masonry Protection resists up to 23 psi of hydrostatic pressure when the coated substrate is covered sufficiently (generally 2-3 coats).  It can be tinted to light and medium shades at local paint stores if desired.
