Protex Frame Protection is a clear drying wood protectant designed be used on all non-exterior    surfaces.  Its uses include such surfaces as structural framing, sub floors, ceiling joists, truss  systems, wallboard as well as many other cellulosic construction materials.  It delivers long-term protection by penetrating cellulosic surfaces, such as wood, and bonding at a molecular level.

Protex Frame Protection is a abrasion and water resistant coating that  contains EPA registered antimicrobials to guard against and help protect the coating surface from mold, mildew, odor-causing microorganisms, black fungal staining and bacterial and fungal slime films.*  Since these materials are built into the molecular structure of the coating, they won’t wash off or wear away.  This protection lasts the useful life of the coating film.
